I love Bluegrass Music, I started out in Country Music at the age of 5 but switched to Bluegrass at 28 and I have never looked back since.

Over the last 5 years I have been fortunate to pick with some of the world’s best players both in The United States and in Australia. Now I find myself in New Zealand.... with very little Bluegrass...

I was born in New Zealand but moved to Australia the day after my 21st Birthday.... I was there for 12 years. I decided to move back to New Zealand in Dec 2009 to be closer to my family and pursue a career in commercial radio .
 
I now work as a News Reader on More FM- Northland and as a Creative Writer for Mediaworks. Radio is a challenging and exciting career.

On a musical front... due to lack of bluegrass pickers in Northland, I am writing and honing my guitar skills, and taking any musical opportunities as they pop up .... in between those opportunities.... I’m playing to capacity crowds in my Lounge room ....

You can take the girl out of the bluegrass.... but you cant take the bluegrass out of the girl!!
